PBGSB Conference

Plant Breeding and Genetics Society of Bangladesh (PBGSB) is going to organize its 2nd International & 12th Biennial Conference from 10 to 11 December 2022. The conference will be jointly organized with Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. The theme of the conference is ‘Plant Breeding Transformation in Changing Climate’.

The goal of this conference is to build capacity and create awareness of the latest developments in plant breeding for improving agriculture, health, and the environment. The conference will focus on research areas viz. Conventional Breeding, Frontier Breeding, Stress Breeding, Hybrid Breeding, and Quality Breeding.

The PBGSB is the only professional plant breeding forum in Bangladesh addressing different scientific and related issues of crop variety development and release and also breeding related technological advancement issues.

The venue of the conference is at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. Renowned researchers and scientists around the world will participate in this conference. Interested participants are requested to register and submit their abstract.
